The next AI feature to be supported on Spotify is generating playlists based on promos entered by users. The existence of this feature was discovered by Chris Messina in the latest code of the application. There are lines of code for AI-generated playlists as well as playlists based on user-entered proms. With this AI feature, a playlist that may be more accurate and precise to the user's wishes can be generated by Spotify.
This isn't the first AI feature used on Spotify which previously introduced a Spotify DJ feature that can talk like a human DJ between songs being played. Unfortunately, the Spotify DJ feature is not yet offered in Malaysia. All apps now have at least one AI feature because it's the current trend.
The question is whether it is a really necessary feature or just a gimmick. At this time it is not yet known whether this playlist generating feature will be launched or not.
