The Leica M11-P was launched last week as the first digital camera to support the Content Credentials image identity verification system. Each photo taken will have complete information on when it was captured, camera identity, owner identity and history if it is edited according to the Content Crednetials system launched by C2PA earlier this month.
The Leica M11-P is equipped with a 60MP BSI-CMOS Full Frame sensor that is matched with a Maestro III image processing chip. This camera is still of the SLR type that can take 4.5 frames per second. Storage is 256GB which can be increased with a UHS II SD card. The body is made of aluminum with a version with a more premium brass material. Charging and data transfer can be done through the USB-C port
The M11-P can only take static pictures without any video recording capabilities. There is a 3″ IPS LCD screen on the back with sapphire glass that avoids any scratch issues. In Malaysia, the Leica M11-P is sold at a price of RM44,450 for the body only.
