YouTube Malaysia today held the Youtube Works 'Best Of Malaysia' Awards ceremony to give appreciation and recognition to several brands that have used YouTube as a platform to connect with their target audience.
There were nine shortlisted finalists for the award and three were finally chosen as winners. Third place was won by Sunsilk Malaysia in the Blackpink Fandom First campaign, second place was won by Sooka Malaysia in the Malaysian League Campaign 2023 and Youtube Malaysia awarded first place to U Mobile who came up with creativity in their work through the Chinese New Year campaign.
Not only that, YouTube also listed some finalist names that will participate in the South East Asia YouTube Works Awards 2023 in six categories, namely The Big Bang, The Long and Short, The Collaborator, The Fire Starter, The Changemaker and The Connected Canvas in Jakarta, Indonesia next October 12. Other finalists involved are McDonald, Berroca, Colgate, MR DIY, Hong Leong. All of them came up with their work by presenting an interesting diversity of creativity.
According to Youtube, the assessment made is not only evaluated in terms of creativity but the ability of the works produced to provide an effective effect and impact on the target audience as well as the extent to which they maximize the ability of the YouTube platform in promoting business. This is a win-win for both parties.
