Parallel to the announcement that it will offer a free upgrade for existing Unifi customers, now TM has prepared a special page specifically for it. Through the Unifi Speed Upgrade 2023 page, customers can check whether their Unifi internet account is subject to this free upgrade or otherwise. To check it, you just need to go to the Unifi Self Care page, and then look at your My Account section.
For information, together with the Unifi plan price update, TM also announced that it will offer free speed upgrades to existing customers. There is no additional charge, or need to register or renew the contract.
TM also stated that there may be plan upgrades that require a new device - where users will be given the option to renew the 24-month contract, or purchase the device separately.
All upgrades will be done in stages, and are expected to take until January 2024. Here are the upgrade packages that existing Unifi customers will receive:
30Mbps package >> upgraded to 100Mbps
100Mbps package >> upgraded to 300Mbps
300Mbps package >> upgraded to 500Mbps
500Mbps package >> upgraded to 800Mbps
800Mbps package >> upgraded to 1Gbps.
1Gbps package >> upgraded to 2Gbps
