For those of you who use WinRAR, you are now advised to update the software to the latest version, as well as overcome serious security vulnerabilities that have been identified in it.
Through analysis by Google TAG, it was found that a number of parties have been using the WinRAR vulnerability since the beginning of 2023 - which allows hackers to run their code when users open files in an archive such as PNG images and so on. It is said that this vulnerability has been used to target crypto trading accounts since April 2023.
For those of you who use WinRAR, you are advised to update your software to the latest version, as well as avoid becoming a victim of this security vulnerability. Since there is no automatic update option on WinRAR, you have to do it manually by downloading the latest version of the software.
