WhatsApp is currently testing a new feature that allows users to easily refer to important messages within the chat window. Through it the user has been allowed to pin a message on the chat window for future reference if necessary. This introduction is an interesting improvement compared to before which was limited to individual and group conversations only.
Meanwhile, users can also choose a specific time period for each pinned message. A total of three time period options are provided which include a day, a week and a month. Even so, they can still remove the message at any time even before the selected time period expires. In addition, the menu on the chat window has also been updated with various user-friendly content and icons.
For now the mentioned features can only be tried by selected WhatsApp Beta users. However, we can expect the update to be widely distributed to more users in due course
