Microsoft last year shared that the Windows platform is now actively used on 1.4 billion devices every month. However, at that time no details were given regarding the use of Windows 10 and also Windows 11.
Now, according to the present report, it is said that there are around 400 million active devices in the world that use Windows 11 every month. Microsoft is said to aim for the figure to exceed 500 million active devices by 2024. This figure is said to be beyond what was predicted by the computing giant.
Windows 11 already includes a number of interesting updates with it, and through the latest update it also includes Windows Copilot which offers artificial intelligence support in performing several tasks and getting feedback.
For now, the high number of users is seen to involve Windows 10. According to early rumors, Microsoft is also said to possibly introduce the Windows 12 operating system as early as 2024.
