Android 14 has already been officially launched two days ago. As always, Pixel devices will receive it first with other devices following later. Recently, Xiaomi is seen to have already started distributing the MIUI 14 update based on Android 14 to some of their devices for the global market.
These devices are Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. Not sure why the Xiaomi 12T Pro didn't receive it at the same time. Although this update is a stable version, sources say Xiaomi is still developing MIUI 14 Android 14 for users to receive the best user experience.
Here is the MIUI 14 version you will receive;
Xiaomi 12T – MIUI-V14.0.6.0.ULQMIXM
Xiaomi 13 – MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMCMIXM
Xiaomi 13 Pro – MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMBMIXM
You can check your Xiaomi device settings for over-the-air (OTA) updates. Android 14 does not have many changes compared to Android 13. Google brings a lot of generative AI integration, the ability to customize the layout of the lock screen, lights and flashing screens for notifications, turning the device into a webcam and more. But it depends on Xiaomi if they want to include it or not.
