The Xiaomi 14 series has been officially launched just now as a new flagship device for the brand. It consists of two different model variations namely Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro which are equipped with various brand new functions.
Xiaomi 14 Pro comes with a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is further combined with several other additional features such as 2K resolution support, peak brightness of up to 3000nits, Dolby Vision and passed HDR10+ certification.
The device is then powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip with a combined memory of up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage of up to 512GB. Also supported is the new HyperOS operating system.
A total of three cameras are used on the back consisting of 50MP (Light Hunter 900) with a large 1/1.31-inch sensor size, a 50MP wide-angle lens with a focal length of 14mm and a 50MP telephoto lens with a focal length of 75mm, all of which support Leica cameras.
This camera is also equipped with variable aperture capabilities between f/1.42 to f/4, while also supporting OIS for the main and telephoto lenses. The ability to record video can reach 8K, which also complements it with a 32MP front camera.
The 4,880mAh battery also comes with 120W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse fast charging systems. Not to mention the device is also equipped with several other features such as Wi-Fi 7 support, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP68 waterproof, infrared and more.
Next Xiaomi 14 is a compact size device. Through it a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate is used. The screen also supports 1.5K resolution, peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, Dolby Vision capability and passes HDR10+ certification.
Next, the device also uses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, memory up to 16GB RAM and internal storage up to 512GB as the mainstay. The main camera capability also consists of a 50MP (Light Hunter 900), a 50MP wide-angle lens and a 50MP telephoto lens with optical zoom up to 3.2X and supports OIS. Unlike the pro variant, the Xiaomi 14 camera does not come with the ability to change the aperture.
Video capability also reaches 8K which is also included with a 32MP front camera. The 4,610mAh battery comes with a 90W wired and 50W wireless charging system. In addition the device also passes the IP68 waterproof rating and supports the latest HyperOS operating system.
