The Xiaomi 14 series is in the spotlight today as the first device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. At the same time, it runs the new Xiaomi HyperOS operating system which has been improved in various aspects including design, performance and security.
Aside from smartphones, the Xiaomi Watch S3 was also announced today as a new addition to the brand's line of wearables. Various interesting features are offered through it such as the ability of interchangeable bezels, the first to run the Xiaomi HyperOS operating system and many more.
The Xiaomi Watch S3 comes in silver and black frame options. But what makes it interesting is the bezel that can be easily changed to suit the current style. It is made of metal which can then also automatically change the watch face based on the current bezel color and style.
Next Watch S3 is also the first to run the HyperOS operating system, which should offer a better connection experience between various devices in the Xiaomi ecosystem. At the same time there is also eSIM support allowing phone calls to be made from the wrist.
Also included is a built-in health and fitness monitoring sensor including ECG support which is very useful for real-time heart rate monitoring. The included battery can last up to 15 days on a single charge, while the built-in NFC feature can also be used for mobile payments.
Complementing it is a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and 600nits peak brightness. In China this watch is sold starting at CNY799 (~RM522) then increases to CNY999 (~RM653) for the eSIM version.
