Xiaomi Will Replace MIUI With MiOS

What's in a name? In the case of MIUI it is seen as an Android launcher and not an operating system with various interesting features. Recently Xiaomi is reported to start using the new operating system MiOS to replace MIUI with it currently in the Beta testing phase.

According to Digital Chat Station, MiOS will target usage not only on smartphones but also on tablets, wearable devices and even electric cars in the near future. The MiOS approach is believed to be the same as Huawei's approach through HarmonyOS.

A screenshot of the MiOS screen has also been shared showing the operating system's new logo. MIUI has a reputation as an innovative and simple-looking operating system. The only common issue we've had with it is that the global version isn't as smooth as the version marketed in China. If MiOS is able to offer a better user experience, we're sure most users won't care about the new name it uses later.
