For You, You and others that are more or less the same are tabs on social media platforms that display content based on the user's interests or usage patterns. It was popularized by TikTok, then followed by other platforms such as Twitter and Threads. While Facebook remains using the Feed tab.
Most recently, YouTube was also seen testing more or less the same feature by introducing a new tab called You. However, it does not display content based on the user's interests, instead it is just an icon to go to the user's profile page.
This You tab allows users to access account settings, app settings, incognito mode, access to downloaded content, playlists and more. Now the bar below displays five icons namely Home, Shorts, "+", Subscriptions and You. Basically this new tab replaces Your Library.
For now, this test is limited to select users for Android devices only. For iOS it is not sure whether the same feature will be offered as well or will remain with the existing icon. Let's wait together.
