AI generative services are growing day by day. Today, the Brave web browser has introduced their artificial intelligence service that will compete with Bing Chat on Microsoft Edge, Leo Assistant. Unlike Bing Chat which uses GPT technology by OpenAI, Brave uses the Llama 2 model developed by Meta.
Brave also has a premium virtual assistant powered by Claude Instant. According to Brave, Leo can help formulate a website or video, can answer any question, generate new content, do translation, analyze web content, rewrite an article and much more.
Leo with Llama 2 is free to use, while Leo with Claude costs $15 per month (~RM71). Leo can be accessed through the Brave sidebar by pressing the new icon. For now this Brave virtual assistant is limited to desktop only but will arrive on iOS and Android apps in the coming months.
