CelcomDigi now informs that there are small fires that have occurred, affecting services for a number of customers in several areas in Pahang and Terengganu.
Among the affected areas are Bentong, Bera, Genting, Indera Mahkota, Jaya Gading, Gambang, Jengka, Awah Jengka, Lepar Utara, Gelanggi, Jerantut, Karak, Lipis, Maran, Sri Jaya, Mentakab, Muadzam, Bandar Tun Razak, Pekan, Raub, Rompin, Temerloh and Tg Lumpur, Chini, Kuantan Metro, Kuala Krai, Chiku, Bukit Bading, Ketengah, Hulu Terengganu, Besut, Gong Badak, Wakaf Tengah, Cheneh and Pantai Sepat.
CelcomDigi stated that users in this area will experience voice, SMS and internet data service interruptions. CelcomDigi is working to restore all services as soon as possible.
As a result of a small fire on the morning of Wednesday, 8 November 2023, Celcom customers in several areas in Pahang and Terengganu experienced voice, SMS and Internet service disruptions. Areas affected include:
