Cereka is one of the applications that focuses on digital reading - offering access to novels, books, short stories and certot (short stories) through it. Today, Cereka celebrates its first anniversary, while also sharing a number of statistics related to the service.
Cerka now has nearly 12,000 active users, and has an average reading time of around 40 minutes per day by its users. This also shows that many access reading materials digitally. Through Cereka, it has an offer of over 250 novels and books, hundreds of short stories, and around over 500 certots through it. Access to short stories and certots is provided for free, while to access novels and books, it is offered at a subscription price of RM4.90 per month for unlimited access.
On sharing a year's achievements, Cereka also shared that they had shared RM38,700 with a number of writers on their platform. It is understood that this figure does not include the licensing figures for novels and books that are also offered through the platform.
Moving forward, Cereka says it has a number of plans for the coming year, including looking into the audiobook arena as well as storytelling-based games.
For those of you who are interested in digital reading materials, you can download Cereka on Google Play Store and App Store, and use it to access various local reading materials.
