AMD is expected to introduce laptops with their most powerful laptop graphics card, the AMD Radeon RX 7900M soon, and recently, the graphics card was tested with the GeekBench 6 benchmarks.

This graphics card showed a score of 171,430 in the Vulkan graphics benchmark, which is a higher score compared to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card for laptops.

According to some additional details, this graphics card uses a Navi 31 graphics chip with 72 Compute Units and comes with a Boost Clock speed as high as 1825MHz. This graphics card is also seen using as much as 16GB of GDDR6 memory.

Even so, in the OpenCL benchmark test, this graphics card is seen to be slightly behind compared to the same graphics card, but it should also be noted that this graphics card is still not operating at an optimal rate, and the probability is that it also needs new software to improve it further his performance.

Among the gaming laptops seen to use this powerful graphics card is the Alienware M18 R1, and more models are expected to arrive later this year.
