Google Chrome is No Longer Supported on Android 7.0

Last year Google ended support for the Chrome web browser on Android 6.0 Marshamallow. Most recently, support for Android 7.0/7.1 Nougat will be discontinued. The last update this version of Android will receive is Chrome 119.

The new version of Chrome 120 which is expected to arrive on December 6 will have limited support for Android 8.0 Oreo devices and above. Until today according to statcounter, Android is the world's most popular operating system with a market share of 37.34%, while Chrome is the most popular web browser with a market share of 63.14%.

For users who are still using Android Nougat devices, don't worry because Chrome 119 can still be used for a long time before the risk of security vulnerabilities occurs. If not, there are many other web browsers to try such as Microsoft Edge or DuckDuckGo.
