Google Is Looking At The Potential To Establish A Data Center In Malaysia


 Various tech giants have started opening their own data centers in Malaysia, offering faster access to the region for their respective services. Recently, Google also stated that, with the support of the Malaysian government, Google is looking at the potential of establishing a data center in Malaysia.


This data center is expected to power Google's various digital services.



In addition, at the same time, Google also stated that it will offer digital training opportunities to local citizens, with the intention of improving the skills of more than 300,000 Malaysians by 2026. This training service is offered free of charge through the Go Cloud program.


Among the training offered are generative AI programs (AI gene), data analysis, in addition to various things involving the cloud. This introduction is an extension of the previous Gemilang program which offered certification and scholarship support for over 31,000 people.
