Set to mixed reality by Meta Quest developed for productivity, gaming, entertainment and socializing use. The headset runs its own Android-based operating system with most apps only available officially through its own app store.
The applications offered by the Meta are undeniably more numerous than the Pico. But the number of applications offered still does not satisfy many users because many still want other applications to be supported once. Meta representatives have stated that they have asked Google to integrate the Play Store into Meta Quest but have been denied without reason.
This Meta representative also said that developers can just give them an APK file to be supported on Meta Quest and it may not even need to be modified to be supported on Meta Quest. If there is a modification, it is only for application control.
