Although it may still be a secret status for the launch date, details about the Honor Magic6 have started to be talked about lately. Accordingly, various assumptions have been made about it including camera specifications with a focus on the periscope sensor.
According to Digital Chat Station Honor will soon use a 160MP periscope telephoto sensor instead of 200MP as previously advertised. This matter is also capable of being a catalyst for the development of the mobile photography industry through the support of the high-resolution periscope sensor.
In addition, the device's main sensor can be based on OmniVision OV50K with Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor (LOFIC) technology which is claimed to be able to improve imaging capabilities better. The sensor itself will also have a larger 1/1.3″ size which should be able to increase sensitivity to light for better photograding performance.
Digital Chat Station also emphasized that the device will also receive significant improvements overall. This is in line with Zhao Ming, Honor's CEO's previous disclosure of plans to introduce technology not yet available in the industry on the flagship device.
