KTM Berhad has now shared that they will support payments using Apple Pay and Samsung Pay in early 2024, at all KTM stations nationwide.
This partnership comes as an extension of the introduction of MyDebit-based payment support at all KTM stations over the past few days. For now, only debit card support is introduced, and credit card support will be added at the end of November 2023.
In addition to this support, users can also use the KTM Wallet application to purchase tickets online, and then scan the QR code at the station entrance.
With this move, KTM gives more freedom to users, and is not tied to just the old system.
