A year ago Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 was shown to the public but the launch date was not announced. Today Lenovo has finally confirmed that this foldable screen laptop will finally be offered to the global market including Malaysia.
The latest Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold comes with a brand new design with a 16.3-inch OLED screen display and comes with a device frame 25 percent thinner than before which is made of aluminum. The foldable computer is equipped with an Intel Core i7 Alder Lake vPro chip, up to 32GB DDDR5 memory and up to 1TB SSD NVMe PCIe 4.0 storage and runs the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system.
In terms of I/O, this tablet comes with two Thunderbolt 4 plugs, one USB 3.2 Type-C plug and an optional SIM card slot and 5G network support for selected models.
The second generation Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold is offered at a starting price of $2,499 (~RM11,726) starting today in several markets around the world. Lenovo Malaysia has already confirmed that it will enter the local market at a date that has not yet been announced.
