Lenovo is a computer maker brand that is quite famous for their computer offerings, from desktop computers to laptops for home, office and even gaming. Recently, with the launch of the latest AMD Threadripper processing chip series, Lenovo has updated their Lenovo ThinkStation computer series with a new model, the Lenovo ThinkStation P8.
In a black iron frame measuring 175 x 508 x 435 mm, this Lenovo ThinkStation P8 comes with the use of the new WRX90 chipset, along with the AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX CPU offering which includes the AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX CPU with 96 Zen4 physical cores can be overclocked up to 5.1GHz and consumes 350W of power.
In terms of memory supply, this ThinkStation P8 computer is capable of accommodating up to 2TB of DDR5 memory in an octa-channel configuration, seven SSD PCIe 4.0 storage and three hard drives with large storage without problems, and is very useful in industries that require computer storage that is not only large, but also fast.
What is even more interesting is the graphics card configuration that can be found on this computer. Lenovo says that depending on the graphics card, you can load an AMD Radeon PRO W7900 with 96 CU units and 48GB of GDDR6 memory or three NVIDIA RTX 6000 graphics cards that also have the same amount of memory. With the maximum configuration, it is estimated that a Lenovo ThinkStation P8 computer will come with a weight of around 25.9KG.
For now, Lenovo only says that the ThinkStation P8 professional work-class computer will only be offered in early 2024, with a price tag that will also be announced later.
