LinkedIn, a social service that focuses on professionals and integrates various elements of employment, today announced that it has reached more than 1 billion users on its platform.
LinkedIn, which is owned by Microsoft, says that almost 80% of its users are from outside the United States. LinkedIn is offered for free, allowing users to display resumes, as well as share various things related to their career development.
In addition to the free service, LinkedIn also offers a paid plan that offers several additional features, including seeing who has reviewed the profile, etc.
By recording this figure of 1 billion users, now LinkedIn also stands on par with other platforms with billions of users such as Instagram, and Facebook.
