MediaTek is now officially introducing their newest high-powered processing chip, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300. This chip is expected to power several new flagship phones that will be introduced starting in November 2023.
The Dimensity 9300 comes with a 4-nanometer chip build, featuring four Cortex-X4 cores clocked at 3.25Ghz, coupled with four Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.0Ghz.
This new chip offers high processing power and is more powerful than the previous generation, and also comes with the Immortalis-G720 GPU. It also offers ray-tracing support during gameplay. According to some new benchmark tests, it shows faster performance than Qualcomm's newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Completing this chip is also artificial intelligence processing support through the APU790 – allowing various computing involving artificial intelligence to be done directly on the device.
This new chip is also more energy efficient than before, in addition to including 4K display support, 4K HDR video recording, WiFi 7 up to 6.5Gbps, as well as 5G support.
MediaTek says the first phone using the Dimenstiy 9300 will hit the market soon.
