As previously informed, effective November 2023, Mozilla has started rebranding Firefox Accounts to Mozilla Accounts. This change is more about branding only, where users can still use everything as usual without having to make any changes on your end.
Mozilla did this rebranding because the registered identity account is not limited to storing Firefox browsing data only, but can also be used on other Mozilla products such as Pocket, Mozilla VPN and so on.
With this move, it is expected to further facilitate the identification of Mozilla products and the use of the Mozilla identity across the web. Mozilla also stated that they are now also adding Google ID and Apple ID support to their products to further simplify the login and usage process.
