Nepal To Ban TikTok – Says Social Harmony Is Disrupted

 

The government of Nepal has now stated that they will ban the TikTok application, citing that several things are disturbed due to the misuse of the application including social harmony.

The ban is in addition to a number of countries that have banned or restricted the app – including the likes of India. Previously, some countries had banned it due to security and data concerns.

According to the Nepalese government, as many as 1600 cybercrime cases involving TikTok have been reported in Nepal in four years. For now, TikTok has not issued any statement regarding the banning of their application in Nepal.
