realme GT3 is realme's affordable flagship device launched during MWC Barcelona 2023. The device comes with 240W fast charging support that can charge the device from 0% to 100% in less than 10 minutes. After 9 months of waiting for this device, it seems that realme Malaysia will finally launch it for the local market as this device has been listed on the SIRIM website.
This device uses a 6.74-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, can display HDR10+ content and a brightness of 1400nits. It's powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip instead of the newer 8 Gen 3. For memory it reaches up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and can be expanded with 12GB RAM virtual memory as well as internal storage up to 1TB UFS 3.1.
Among the interesting features of this device is that it has an LED light system on the back called Pulse Interface Design. This light has 25 different colors for the first GT Mode or notification mode. The camera configuration combines a 50MP IMX890 sensor + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP microscope and a 16MP selfie camera. To keep this device cool, the Steel Vapor Cooling System Max 2.0 vapor chamber system is used.
A 4600mAh battery is used and the software is realme UI 4.0 which is still based on Android 13. This new realme UI includes a battery control feature to keep the battery healthy by supporting up to 1600 charging cycles.
When launched in Barcelona, the price of GT3 starts from $649 which is around RM2912 with Booster Black and Pulse White color options. Let's all look forward to the launch in Malaysia later and the price. Due to the age of this device is 9 months, hopefully the local market price will be around RM2000 only.
