The government has today announced that eMADANI e-cash credit redemption of RM100 will be open from 4 December 2023. In parallel, four digital wallets have now been announced that will join and support this eMADANI initiative.
The 4 digital wallets are MAE, Setel, ShopeePay and Touch n Go eWallet. Users can choose one of the digital wallets, and do the redemption through it.
This eMADANI program will be open to those who earn less than RM100,000 per year, and are over 21 years old. This will simultaneously cover the B40 and M40 groups in Malaysia. A total of 10 million adults are expected to qualify for this eMADANI credit.
In addition, this eMADANI credit is also limited to be spent physically, and not online. Redemption can be made until February 20, 2024, but credit must be used before February 29, 2024.
