Sam Altman And Greg Brockman To Head New Artificial Intelligence Division At Microsoft

The Sam Altman saga continues it seems, as we just reported that he will not be returning to OpenAI, as his position has been handed over (interimly) to Emmet Shear for the foreseeable future, while the institution searches for a more permanent replacement.

Recently, Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella has released an announcement on the X platform and said that Microsoft will still work with OpenAI to develop artificial intelligence products that were already announced at the Microsoft Ignite event earlier.

As for Sam Altman, Satya Nadella also confirmed that he and Greg Brockman, the former president of OpenAI, will join Microsoft to head a new artificial intelligence research division that will soon be established.

This would technically allow Sam Altman to technically still work with OpenAI to develop artificial intelligence products for Microsoft, and continue to do artificial intelligence research with the company.
