Yesterday Samsung Gauss was announced as a self-developed artificial intelligence (AI) model that supports text, images and code. Today Galaxy AI was announced as artificial intelligence for Galaxy devices in the near future. With AI available on these devices some new features will be supported on Samsung Galaxy devices in the near future and one of them is AI Live Translate Call.
AI Live Translate Call is capable of translating phone conversations between two users who do not speak the same language. When caller A uses English to chat with individual B who only understands Korean, caller A's audio is automatically displayed on the screen in Korean text.
Then caller B can answer in Korean and his audio is displayed in English text. With this, according to Samsung, language differences will no longer be a barrier for people to communicate using the phone.
These are just a few of the Samsung Gauss-based Galaxy AI capabilities shown so far. It is most likely to be introduced in the Galaxy S24 series which will be launched next January.
