Smart Pin Ai Pin Launches With Built-in Projector And Voice Control

This allows the Ai Pin to be clipped to the collar or shirt like the DJI and Rode microphones. According to Humane, the battery can last every day and even if it runs out, the owner only needs to replace the battery pack to continue using it.

There is no screen on the Ai Pin instead a projector displays the information you want to know on the palm of your hand. The owner then presses the image on the palm to dial the phone number and interact with the notification. Ai Pin is powered by an undisclosed Snapdragon chip and is also equipped with a 13MP camera that can take photos and videos.

The majority of interactions with Ai Pin are done through voice commands, finger gestures and the help of a virtual assistant with artificial intelligence (AI). Ai Pin doesn't listen all the time for privacy reasons. The owner has to press the contact pad on the front of the body to activate it before voice commands are given.

A speaker at the top allows voice calls or music to be heard. Meanwhile, an LED light in front displays the status of whether it is active or not. When lit, people can also see Ai Pin is actively listening or recording videos. Humane also provides a small LED notification light at the top.

Finally, it does not have any applications at this time, instead it only comes with a few applications and built-in functions. The Humane Ai Pin can be ordered for $699 (~RM3299) apiece in the United States only and it will go on sale in early 2024 in Eclipse, Equinox and Lunar colors.
