Sony through one of the tweets on the official Twitter announced the introduction of the Android 14 operating system for the mid-range device Xperia 10 V. This also joins the Sony Xperia 1 V which has also received the same update before. The specific timeframe of adoption will of course vary by country which is said to start with users in Europe and the UK first.
With the Android 14 offering, various updates are included on the device such as new lock screen shortcuts, more font selection, Nearby Share with support for Windows 10 PCs and additional compatibility with the Find My Device app. Meanwhile the update also brings enhanced privacy options as well as brand new battery settings.
