SPH Media, one of Singapore's leading publishing-focused companies, today announced it will take over Tech In Asia. Tech In Asia is one of the digital publications that focuses on the world of technology startups, in the Asian region. The takeover price has not been announced by either party at this time.
SPH stated that the acquisition of Tech In Asia will further strengthen their portfolio, especially under The Business Times. It is expected to increase the value of Business Times in offering various latest news involving the world of startups, business and technology.
TIA was previously established in 2010. Previously, it used the Penn-Olsen brand before TIA. In addition to digital publishing, TIA also focuses on a number of events involving the startup world, based in Singapore.
