Telegram Showcases Their App On visionOS

visionOS is the operating system used on Apple's high-end mixed reality headset, the Vision Pro. Yesterday, Telegram shared a demo video of how their app will work on this headset.

Overall, the Telegram application displayed looks like the full version as on the desktop version or on macOS only with a transparent interface design that will be adapted according to the user's environment. There are some floating icons for easier control.

Interestingly, in the messaging room all stickers support movement and can move out into the window as if floating in the user's living room for example. The video that is played will also bring the user to a large virtual screen with shadow effects according to the movement in the video.

In the future, if the Apple Vision Pro, which costs more than RM16,000, has been sold, will you communicate with your friends or loved ones using Telegram or will you stick with iMessage only? So far I have yet to see another messaging app developed for Apple's mixed reality platform.
