Tesla Supercharger Now Available to All EVs in South Korea

Tesla expanded its program to allow other companies' EVs to use their Supercharger charging network in South Korea this week. About half of the Superchargers in South Korea are now equipped with Magic Dock adapters to support the CCS1 head used by EV vehicles in South Korea. Tesla vehicles use their own proprietary NACS chargers.

This is the next step by Tesla which also opens access to Superchargers in the United States, Canada, Europe, Turkey, New Zealand, Australia and China. It will make it easier for EV owners to find a charging port without having to worry about it not being compatible with the vehicle they are using.

In Malaysia Supercharger is still only open to Tesla car owners. But with the number of electric vehicle chargers still quite limited, we can only hope that Tesla Malaysia will do the same with the countries above.
