Since its founding in 2002, Sonos has built a reputation for producing premium multi-room speaker and entertainment room audio systems that sell at a bargain price. Their reputation remains to this day despite many new competitors. According to a Bloomberg report after 22 years of existence Sonos will start offering their first headphones next year.
In 2024 they will expand their product offering not only in the form of headphones but also earphones and TV boxes. Their headphones target a retail price of $500 with multi-room support and even Sonos Voice control. It is believed that these premium headphones have been in development since 2019.
After the headphones only their first wireless earphones will be launched. Information about this product is still vague. What's not in the dark is the production of a TV box for streaming that will support a variety of popular platforms with Sonos' flagship audio offering.
