After Snapchat introduced their Stories feature, all social media platforms tried to introduce more or less similar features. Interestingly, other platforms became popular and Snapchat was forgotten. Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram have more or less the same features.
Most recently, the stories feature on WhatsApp, namely Status, will receive an update where users can filter according to four categories. First is All, then Recent, Viewed and Muted. This makes it easy for users to see the desired Status or look back at missed ones.
For now, it's limited to select beta users testing WhatsApp version 2.23.25.3 on Android. The stable version for now is still not sure when it will be offered to everyone as this is an interesting feature for users who always share their Status.
