Good news for those who are tired of errors or defamation. Today X officially announced that users in Malaysia can start contributing to Community Notes.
Community Notes is a feature that allows X users to post correction notes on tweets that they feel are inaccurate. Since it was introduced a few months ago in selected countries, it has helped to some extent against the deception of facts, especially in the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
In addition to providing more accurate information and context, Community Notes also prevents accounts spreading fake news from monetizing X. This is important as more and more accounts are doing it purely for profit.
