Designs of the Xiaomi SU7 and SU7 Max electric cars have leaked onto the web after they entered the database of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology before they could be sold. Both cars are of the four-door sedan type but with two different performances.
Xiaomi SU7 is a version weighing 1980 kilograms with a maximum speed of 210 km/h while the Xiaomi SU7 Max is 2205 kilograms with a maximum speed of 265 km/h. There is also a Xiaomi SU7 Pro model but the specification information for it is not listed either. Operating distance with the battery is listed as up to 800 km with a single charge.
Another difference between the SU7 and SU7 Max also lies in the motor configuration. SU7 with rear motor only while SU7 Max is equipped with front and rear motors. At first glance it looks similar to the design of the Porsche Taycan.
This electric car will use the recently announced HyperOS operating system which is also used on Xiaomi smartphones, watches, tablets, TVs and internet of things devices. With the car already entering the database, its launch in early 2024 is definitely getting closer.
