YouTube Premium Subscription Prices Increase Again in Some Countries

All monthly subscription service prices have gone up this year leaving consumers wondering which services to continue. After activating restrictions on ad blocker users this week, Google has raised the price of YouTube Premium subscriptions in seven countries.

Customers in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Chile, Germany, Poland, and Turkey began receiving emails stating that subscription prices will be increased starting with the next billing cycle. Subscription prices are increased on personal, family and student packages. According to YouTube the price is increased to improve the quality of their content offering.

In Malaysia, YouTube Premium subscription prices were increased last May. It is not known at this time if the price will be increased again in the near future.
