AI integration features on everyday apps are increasing this year. Most recently, YouTube conducted two tests using AI to form a chatbot and summarize the comments left by viewers. Through the chatbot feature, viewers can ask about the content of the video they want to watch. Through the answers given viewers can choose to continue watching the video or stop it before wasting internet data.
Next, the comment summary feature categorizes comments based on the comments left. To the video owner, it can give an idea of what viewers like to talk about and maybe see the ideas they left without having to read all the comments.
YouTube says the feature can be used by YouTube Premium subscribers today until December 5th with it only supporting English at this time.
