Apple is now reportedly in talks with several news publishers to license their content and use it in training language models for use by artificial intelligence. Among the names reported in discussions with Apple are Conde Nast, and NBC News.
As many are already aware, by training a special language model with good content, it will allow a better response to be given by the model in the future.
Today, the artificial intelligence arena is led by several parties, including OpenAI and Google. Apple is still silent on this matter, and many are waiting to see what Apple will offer.
Some previous reports also stated that Apple is developing internally "Apple GPT" which may be introduced as early as 2024.
