In addition to launching the carbon edition G-Shock watch in conjunction with the 40th anniversary, Casio also announced the launch of the G-SHOCK X Rich Brian watch which is the result of their collaboration with the recording company 88rising. This watch is based on the GA-2100 with a seafoam blue body and strap with a pink finish.

This watch can be taken diving up to 200 meters and has the standard durability synonymous with the G-Shock brand. Timer features, stopwatch, save 31 time zones and Super Illuminator lighting system are also included. The watch battery can last up to three years before needing to be replaced. Casio G-SHOCK X Rich Brian is sold in Malaysia at a price of RM675 per piece starting next December 15.
