Google Wallet is a digital wallet service included on Android phones, allowing users to add a credit or debit card, then make a payment transaction by touching the phone to a payment terminal in a store.
Google Wallet support in Malaysia was introduced not long ago, with the support of a number of banks – including CIMB, Hong Leong Bank, HSBC, Public Bank, Wise and even Standard Chartered.
Most recently, also adding support for it is AmBank. AmBank users who use Mastercard or Visa credit cards can now add the card to Google Wallet and use it in daily payment transactions.
For information, in addition to bank cards, you can also add reward cards such as Bonuslink to Google Wallet.
