Huawei Launches Laptop With Kirin 9006C 5nm Chip

 


We just reported news that Huawei and SMIC are developing their first 5nm chips. But suddenly without any launch ceremony, Huawei Qingyun L540 has been launched in China. with a Kirin 9006C chip with 5nm technology.



This laptop is equipped with a 14″ QHD screen, memory up to 16GB RAM, storage up to 512GB and a battery of 56Wh. According to the benchmark scores, the Kirin 9006C comes with 1 x Cortex-A77 3.13 GHz, 2x Cortex-A77 2.83 GHz, 4x Cortex-A55 cores 2.05 GHz and is paired with a Mali-G78 MP22 GPU. In addition to the Kirin 9006C chip, the L540 is also offered with a Tongxin chip.



In terms of I/O, it has 1x USB-C, 2x USB-A 1, 1x HDMI, 1x audio jack and 1x LAN. Continuing the patriotic theme, the L540 also uses the Chinese-developed Kylin operating system based on Linux. In China the sale price of Huawei Qingyun L540 starts from RMB6645 (~RM4348) a.
