A few months ago, Meta AI was introduced as a chatbot with generative AI that will be integrated in WhatsApp, Messenger and even Instagram. It is powered by the Llama 2 model, there are avatars of 28 celebrities such as MrBeast or Snoop Dogg, and the data is trained using social media platforms under Meta. Meta AI also supports image generation using the Emu model.
Most recently, Meta has set up a dedicated website for their Meta AI image generation service at imagine.meta.com. Imagine with Meta AI allows users to generate four images with one prom. This service was launched because according to Meta many of their users love the use of image generators. So they develop this feature offering beyond the chatbot for people to use.
Each image generated also has a watermark with in the future, transparent watermarks will be introduced. In my tests Imagine with Meta AI was not that great at producing the images I wanted compared to being free to use for now. It is also limited to the United States only and has not yet been confirmed when it will be offered to all users globally.
