iOS 17.2 Update That Enables Journal And Spatial Video Now Available For Download

iPhone users can now download the iOS 17.2 update this morning. Through iOS 17.2, the previously announced Journal feature can finally be used by users. It is a personal journal-like feature that can support text as well as images. Because the stored content may be private, the Journal can be locked using Face ID or Touch ID. End-to-end encryption is also enabled when backing up to iCloud.

For owners of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 154 series, this update also activates support for the Qi2 wireless charging format with a maximum power of 15W just like the MagSafe charger. Previously only the iPhone 15 supported Qi2 since it was launched. Also present in this 1.49GB update is Spatial Video recording support on iPhone 15 Pro devices. This 3D video can then only be viewed again using a Vision Pro headset that goes on sale next year. Please do the OTA update on your device this morning to enjoy all the announced features.
