Panasonic Lumix G100D Launched With Small Changes

In silence the Panasonic Lumix G100D has been officially announced in Japan. It is an updated model for the previous Lumix G100 with minor changes. That includes new, lower-resolution EVF support on OLED screens with 2.36 million dots. In addition, this new camera also uses a USB Type-C 2.0 port that replaces micro USB on the Lumix G100.

Other specifications are the same with the 20.3 Megapixel micro 4:3 sensor that can be matched with interchangeable lenses. Video recording capabilities are up to 4K 30FPS or 1080P 60FPS. Then there is an electronic image stabilization system only because there is no IBIS.

Apart from that the Nokia OZO audio system is also included which should allow full audio to be recorded through it. Other specifications are WiFi support and bluetooth tethering to enable control using a smartphone app. Another thing is that there is a mini HMDI output complementing the camera.

Panasonic Lumix G100D will be marketed in Japan from January 2024. However, it is not yet known whether there will be a change in the sales price or otherwise.
