Paramount And Warner Bros. Discovery May Be Joining

Warner Brothers merged with Discovery while Disney merged with 20th Century Studio. The merger was done to allow more exclusive streaming content to be offered to consumers while at the same time restricting it from being given to competitors. Recently, Warner Bros. Discovery was reported to be in talks to merge with Paramount.

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav met with Paramount CEO Bob Bakish on Tuesday to discuss a merger, according to sources. Through it CNN and CBS can merge into one big news channel. HBO, Warner Brothers and Parmount movie and TV series content can also be bundled giving more diverse options to customers of the Max and Paramount+ platforms which can also be bundled.

The streaming war in the United States is currently being won by Netflix with Disney+ in second place. However, Disney+ has yet to turn a profit for Disney even after making the previous investment. The Max platform is now burdening Warner Bros. Discovery forcing them to offer content on competing platforms.
